Dude everybody thinks my car is a gtp !!

i have a 2 door grand prix gt with a couple of minor mods an every time im cruising or going to do an errand i bump into gtp's that want to race i'll race them but i see no point in it if they are going to take me right off the line !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Don't feel bad. I have a GTX and evry Cobra in town wants to race.
Sounds like the guys with the GTPs want a sure win. Might make them feel better.

OK this may be a dumb question on my part but what is the differnece between a gtp and a gtx? What makes a grand prix a gtx?

SLP (street legal performance) puts about 5k worth of GTX accessories..check out this site...this is one kick ass GTX

GTX has 17" wheels, ram-air, differnt spoiler and three tags that say GTX. This picture is of my GTP. No one will get pictures of the GTX till it's done. Just had it painted. Everyone knows how that's going. Let's put it this way, I have had 17 rental cars. Still has acouple things they have to fix.
I'm hoping by Christmas it will be done. Well if the mods keep coming, it will never be done.

Seen this one. Steve used to be out here, a lot. But haven't seen him out lately.
Car is not ready. Have too many parts yet to find. Now has stock hood, wheels and spoiler. The only thing I want is spoiler. Don't need hood, getting enough air. Don't like GTX rims. The spoiler makes it look good. Have a guy in town that wants my honey comb rims. I want to trade him for his stock spokes. But he's playing dumb. I'll get some taken as soon as it looks more like a car. Seeing that they just repainted drivers door, Didn't want to put tags on for a couple of days. So now when I want to race someone, I put the passenger door on their side. Till tomorrow. Then tag goes back on.

maybe you should get a badge that says GT\ since your putting back so many stock parts we can call it gt slash

Should just run GT tags. Just think of the looks on faces.
The GTX is the last car I'm putting together for a while. Want to do it right. Also have to remember, I'm keeping up 5 cars at one time. Even with them in storage, the cost is nuts. Thinking of selling the Chevy. It's not what I wanted. Was looking for another Nomad.
