I bought a cheap code reader from codereader.com
i plug it into my 91 explorer as they say in the manual and i get no codes with the ignition off it stays a steady light and tone but when i turn the ignition on it goes off. is there somthing else i need to do? |

are u sure your code reader is compatible with OBDI?
It might be for newer cars that have OBDII. with OBDI (95-down) manufacters had a different OBD tool cause they had different hook ups and programs. OBDII which is 95-up all use the same plugin and same program. |
