engines for a 92 integra ls

hey i got a 92 integra LS (obviously) and i was wondering if the b18c5 would fit, or if any mods would be needed to get it to fit, also, what other engines would fit? right now i have the stock b18a in it with an AT and i was lookin around for a more powerful engine with a MT. if anyone has any info on engine sizes and/or engines themselves lemme know.

Re: engines for a 92 integra ls

well having a type r engine doesn't come close to you calling ur car a type r...and the c5 is still one of the more expensive engines out there...minus the k series...

before buying or considering an engine...think about what you want to do to your car...turbo, na, sc....auto-x, track, or just street racing, those decisions play a part in what engine set-up is going to be best for your car...now i'm not telling u not to go for the gusto and get a c5 b/c the majority of the people want one...but most got the engine set-up that worked better for them and their car

Re: engines for a 92 integra ls

200whp? or 200 hp at the fly? if you want 200 horsepower at the fly and want it to be N/A the b18c5 and b22 would both be VERY easy to obtain that goal. 200whp... keep the engine you have, upgrade internals and go boost

Re: engines for a 92 integra ls

Keep the motor you got do a ls/vtec swap and turbo it that should put you where you wanna be at or you could just turbo your motor now and do internal work and head work giv eya some but i would do ls/vtec or something but its your money spend it wisely
