Pitman arm install ?
Hey everyone, my 2000 Blazer with 73K has had everything replaced except for the Pitman arm and it's a little sloppy sooo......how bad is this job ? Does the steering box have to be removed or can it be turned on its side without removing the hoses to replace it ? I can get a puller and I do have air tools as well.
Anyone ? Thanks !!

Re: Pitman arm install ?
I would advise searching on this topic.
Heres what I understand. Yes you have to remove the steering box. Yes, you have to use a puller that will not damage the teeth on the spline. It is a sucky job but, take your time, be carefull and its not that difficult. Good luck. |
