Question need info for a gs engine swap, please!

can anyone please give me or link me to any more information on puting a gst engine in a gs. i need more info on what exactly needs to be done. i have a 99 gs with no engine at the moment.. and in the garage i got a 4g63t engine. i got it pretty damn cheap and it came with - Transmission, Engine Wiring Harness, all required cables, ECU, Distributor, Complete Intake Manifold, Power Steering Pump, Alternator, A/C, All Brackets and Sensors. i guess its basicly a complete engine.. i have the engine and my car.. so what else do i need? selling the car isnt an option (love it to death) and the money isnt really too much of an issue. any help is apretiated, thanks =]

Fabrication will be required as the 4g63t engine will not directly drop into the GS bay. You also need an exhaust and downpipe from a GS-T.

Its gonna be work, but it seems you have the most expensive parts so it wont be that bad.

Re: need info for a gs engine swap, please!

im pretty sure your need the crossmember from a gst. probally need the axles and shift linkage too. in the FAQ thread theres a basic list of the components you need. im not sure if its complete, its prolly not, but the worst thing will prolly be all the messing with it its gonna take to get it to go in and work right. sounds like you got the most expensive parts like george said and if you have more money you dont mind spending sounds like this is doable. be sure to take plenty of pictures if you can i know id like to see what all you gotta do. gl
