encounter with a neon

I was in the left most of 3 lanes that all make aleft turn at an intersection,got done turning left and started goin straight. next thing i know, there's a car fly up behind me. at the last second it changes lanes to the center lane and flys by me doing about 60. as it goes by i can see it's a 97ish? dodge neon r/t (frameless windows) white with blue stripes. no exhaust, nothing else apparent done to it. I think, ' finally a car i can prolly beat.' (most of what i encounter are riced out civics and faster eclipses and rsx's) anyway, i change lanes and catch up to him. the next intersection turns rd and we're right next to each other at the light.

he revs a little and inches forward; i just inch, don't rev. so i'm thinkin he wants to go. i'm watching the other lanes light turn yellow gettign ready. the light turns green and we're off. both of us hard off the line. we're even through first but my first gear was shorter than his so i drop down to his fender. he shifts and we're even. then halfway through second i start pulling away. i'm thinkin maybe i've gota kill here and then all te sudden he hits the brakes and darts into a left turn lane (not an intersection just one of te lanes of side streets), pulls a U turn and flies the otherway. i thought i would had him too, damn.

I'm not sure weather to call this a kill or not. damn bastard couldn't even take a possible loss.

i think that counts as a kill. if they run away when you are winning it should count.

so you drive a base model lancer with 120 HP and you beat a Neon R/T that has 150HP and runs high to mid 15 second 1/4 mile? As well as prolly weighing a bit less than you? Either he cant drive for shit, your an amazing driver, or his car is fucked up.
