Re: LS 1 conversion....

The place is called Lee's High Tech Trucks but not sure if I'd use them. I've heard bad things about them on other forums like V8S10.org and S-Seriesforums.com. There are people on both forums that have done LS1 swaps.

Re: LS 1 conversion....

Here's an idea renegade mike; If you have the space, and a semi-decent tool box... and know a welder/fabricator you could probably get a writen off camaro, with the drive train that you want. Then with a bit of time, and a little money do the engine swap yourself.

Then you can part out the camaro, and make most of your money back when your done the job.

If you do the job yourself allow about a month of tinker time to get it running... It's easier for the welder to fabricate the motor / transmission mounts with the cab off... and painless wiring can probably help you with all the electrical adaptors.

I've done simular swaps before and they aren't too hard, just take your time, don't get frusterated, and don't get rid of any parts from either vehicle until your done the job.

Plus if you do the job yourself, let us know how it went.
