vvt-i?

i know what v-tec is, two cam profiles on one cam...but what is toyota's vvt-i system? is it the same thing or what?

basically, cept theres 2 valve per intake cylender, one is bigger than the other, the bigger one always works, when vtL-i kicks in a little rod pins the smaller vavle to the bigger valve and they open up together, incresing the air flow
