Scary...She almost got crushed

While i was driving home today from bowling, my friend driving behind me, this crazy lady decides to slam on her brakes for no apparent reason right in the middle of the road. At first i thought she was just tapping her brakes to slow down a little bit, but then her tires squealed and she abruptly stopped for no reason. I SLAMMED on my brakes and to the point that there was just no movement in my tires, just screaching and burning, and i stopped about 2 inches from the back bumper of her car (may i mention total piece of crap). Of course my friend behind me isn't expecting this either, and he slams on his brakes too. At this point im looking in my rear view mirror watching him slam his brakes.... Wait for it....Wait for it... Bam. HOLY CRAP. My beautiful car was just mauled. Not quite, me and my friend turned into a neighborhood and all i can say is thank god for Plastic Flexible bumpers. His Eclipse Gs-T only had a lil red paint from my car and a few scratches. My bumper has a quarter sized chip of paint off of it, and a couple scratches under the liscense plate. I was so scared i thought she was all crushed and my friend was gunna have to pay for damage on both cars. Good thing she wasn't or his wasn't either. Fortunately i have some touch up paint for my car already, due to the previous confusion of the brake and gas pedal while in the garage....I won't get into that it was the second day i had the car....quite dramatic. She's all better from that now. I still have no clue why that lady stopped and she made sure to get out of there as quick as possible after she heard the loud bump noise I'm sure. I was still in shock that my baby was hit while she was driving away so no liscense plate. Either way i think it will still be my or his fault not hers...Crazy Lady. O well just thought I'd share that craziness with you guys.

Damn... I bet that bitch wanted a new car at the expense of you and your insurance company so she set it up so it would look like you were at fault (which technically you would be). I woulda roughed her up if she stayed around, hate fraudulent people like that who try and cheat the system.

Damn bro, that sucks....sorry dude....and tell your babie sorry for me. I hate it when people do that. One time, we were driving in our old van and there was these two cars parked in the middle of the freeway just stopped with both drivers outside talking. It was at a turning point and my dad didn't see them until it was too late so when he stepped on the brakes, we swerved from the center divide all the way to the edge doing 360s along the way--eventually causing an accident. The guys just looked over at the mess after the whole ordeal and said "yeah, you guys should get this cleaned up..." and drove away. Freakin'-A man.

Re: Scary...She almost got crushed

lol rough, I just rear-ended a girl (not in my 3S tho) a week or two ago, I just HAD to look at the hot girl in the car next to me for 2 seconds, turn back and the car in front of me had stopped short, slammed my brakes and bumped her at about 5 mph, no damage, she got out, checked and said "it's ok"...pretty sweet.

What is with stupid people? Find her again, follow her home and paintball her house (as her car obviously isn't that important to her)
