my girl friend has a 94 cutlass supreme 3.4l? (not much into cutlasses so sorry if im wrong on that, but its a six. she can get a 96 for $800. the back end on the 96 is junk, i was woundern if she got the 96 if we could swap out the trannie and back end? not sure if she will keep the 94 or the 96 but the trannie in the 94 is junk and the rear end in the 96 is bad, but if i can swap them out that would be great but i dont know how different the two are, any and all help is greatfully appreciated

no

no it wont work out as though you want it to. the trannie had a slight change in 95 making it difficult for the computer to recongize it. and the rear end of a 94 is strust suspension, if you could some how remove the strut tower mounts and transfer them with the rear end then that would be the only way that can work. i own a 96 and have been trying like crazy to get rid of the rear leaflet on the rear, its a pain for alignments, but with out fabricating a whole new sturt mount and modifiying my trunk i found no way of doing it.
