Lube Chasis Help/Instructions

HI All!

I'm ready to start doing the service on my '99 auto 4x4 60K mile Rodeo, rather than use a garage.

I have until now had sears do my lube, oil and filter for $25, but would like to do it myself to save a buck and know it's done correctly. I know how to change oil and filer, but then I realized, I've never lubed a chasis. Could you help walk me through what is involved? Or should I just continue to use sears??? Perhaps a lube job can be done independent of an oil change at a reduced price (I've heard a lube job can be dificult/messy)

I am mechanically inclined, just not overly experienced it auto repairs/maintenance.

thanks,
SOLSTER

I know on my 95.5 the suspension parts are permantly lubed, meaning there are not any grease zerks.

When you replace things like tie rod ends or whatever most of the time they have the grease zerk.

Also I have seen several post about lubing a slip yoke but I haven't looked into that.

Baiscally crawl under it and look for grease zerks.

Good luck

Mike
