Re: took out the dip stick... smokey smokey
it sounds like your kidding by saying "took out the dipstick smokey smokey", but im gonna pretend you may be serious and all i have to say is THAT SUCKS.
1. Does your car still run? 2. Did you check the oil? 3. Is your check engine light on? |

Does your oil smell like gas?
I notice sometimes when doing oil changes on cars that come in after they have been running a while that when I take the cap off or adding the new oil it looks like it smokes. but I think its just from the cool comming in contact with hot motor.

Re: took out the dip stick... smokey smokey
How much smoke is it. Keep in mind that the oil runs through the engine, so it will be hot.
If it's not too much smoke, I wouldn't worry about it. |

Re: took out the dip stick... smokey smokey
at the bottom of you dip stick pipe look at the gasket and see if it is in good standings cause it may be bad and leaks on to the exhust when you pull it out and move the pipe.
