Help me make sense of this PLEASE

Guys,
I need to make sense of whats happened today.
I drive a 1998 Civic VTiR (american equivalent to Si except its a hatch).
Honda claims that the HP output at the flywheel in its stock form is 160hp, which assuming 25% of which will be lost before it gets to the wheel..simple maths would arrive at a figure of 140hp at the wheels for a stock Si.

I made certain modifications to the car and they are : a 3'' mandrel bent intake piping with a K&N filter, 2.25'' mandrel bent stainless steel custom catback piping with an APEXi N1 muffler.

I put my car on a dyno this afternoon (air temp. 29degrees Celcius, barometric pressure 1010hp, dew point 1.5degrees Celcius), and the SAE uncorrected max hp for my car is 113.9hp !!!

That when corrected goes up to 114.7hp....which would mean my car has lost power !!!! How can that be ??? a 25hp loss ???? it makes no sense !!

please help me understand it before i go mad.

Btw. I am in Australia so hence the use of Celcius and hpascals

You made your intake with 3 inch tubing. For intakes, Bigger is not always better. If the pipe is too big, the vaccuum that makes the air go faster could be lost. Thats why when you see AEM intakes, they are some weird diameter because they are computer designed to give you the best pressure.

Another explanation would be, Honda advertizes 160 HP, but there's no garentee that every car rolling off the line will be exactly 160 HP, which means not every car would make exactly 140 wheel horsepower.

If you think you lost power, bring it back to stock and run it again and see what the numbers are.
