Re: big problem :(

Punctuation is your friend first off...if we can read your posts...we can help you better.

Is your plug going into the MAS plugged back in...

You mentioned you changed your plugs...did you change them just now or 2 months ago?

Do a pressure test to find vaccuum leaks(read FAQ if you don't know how to pressure test)

Now are you sure you just aren't used to the clutch again...I mean it's been 2 months.

As far as jerking, do you mean that it jerks a bit if in 2nd or 3rd gear but you aren't giving it gas...becuase if it is in gear, and you give it gas and then let off, it should jerk back a bit, because the gearing is slowing you down.

I'm having a really hard time figuring out if you have one problem or 3(engine reving, car jerking, noise from rear)

Are they related or not? Seriously seperate your sentences as it helps us help you.

Re: big problem :(

sorry about not writing it good but was in a hurry well i put the bosch 4 spark, spark plugs so cant gap them. but if i give it gas it doesnt jurk at all but, i can tell even in third gear that its jurking but it seems to stop when i press the gas.as far as the engine reving i think thats the whole problem, well i figure if it does it when i hit tha gas with the clutch all the way in and it seems to not wanna stay at the right rpm it goes down up and such, so i think when i am driving the engine is doing the same thing...

Re: big problem :(

So the car is just reving up and down for no reason?

1. Is your plug going into the MAS plugged back in...
2. If it isn't your plugs, then it is most likely a BIG vacuum leak(probably audible) but an intake pressure test would be the best way to locate one
3. O2 sensor gone bad

You could have put your spark plugs in backwards. I did that in my S-10, pistons were firing 4-3-2-1 instead of 1-2-3-4...piston one would be down when 4 is firing....and I had the exact same problem. I'd check those first. I'm guessing your 02 sensor is bad though. Get it checked soon though, could be bad.

Re: big problem :(

How can you put your plugs in backwards, do you mean the wires?

i'm just as confused as Igovert. Although punctuation did help a little bit, i still can't tell what is related, what is not. can you slow down a little and just tell us slowly what happens when you start the car? what happens when you put the clutch in? let the clutch out? give it gas with the clutch engaged? give it gas in neutral?

its just REALLY hard to diagnose without a clear understanding of what is going on. IMO, it sounds like what happens in every car when the driver hasn't driven stick in a while, or ever. When i first test drove my car (before i purchased it), i complained that the clutch was a little 'grabby' and it jumped and jerked when i let the clutch out. Well...turns out i just hadn't driven stick enough to make the smooth transition from letting the clutch out to giving it enough gas. Practice made perfect, though I must continue to practice everyday to keep the skills up!

just my 2 cents

ya he must have meant the wires. there's no correlation between a plug for a certain cylinder, just the type of plug for the car/application. Ya, if you really wanna screw up someone's car, or just mess with em, you can switch some of the plug wires so the car will misfire and then it will definitely jump/jerk. HOWEVER, [just to cover my ass] i am NOT encouraging this in anyway, and i do not know what it will do, but it can't be good.

Re: big problem :(

Well all the wires are specific sizes though...so it isn't easy to mess that up on our cars.
