Zed's Gone Wild: Zed on Zed action!

I was heading home Saturday night to pull up by a nice looking blue Z32 2+2 (exactly like freaky-deek's). I was like; "Oh-Cool!" and I pointed it out to my fiancee as we both got the red-light turning left. I didn't think much about except for the fact it was a nice looking Z and I continued the conversation about how GAY COSTCO was for closing so damn early and not letting us in.

As soon as the green-light came on he mashes it! OH-YEAH! I mash it in pursuit a gear behind him for about two-hundred or so yards... he shifts into 5th! An MT!?! He's got about a car length on me and pulling fast! I can't catch up! But here comes a 90-degree right-hander and I have the outer lane! He brakes! I brake and creep into his lane and swing into the outer... he's going way too fast and he almost loses it as he realizes he's going too fast and brakes too hard. I slowed down a bit 'cus my fiancee is all, "Oh-shit-Oh-shit-Oh-Shit" during this whole race and plus I don't want the guy to totally wipe out and hit us. As he regains control I pass him easily on the straight... but of course he is quicker ?(I confirm he has MT as I see him shifting) and soon passes me and beats me to the next light. When the next light turns green I take off but he doesn't want to play no more... oh-well! Thought you would all like to hear my latest adventure! Now... maybe it's time I bought that HKS ALC....

nice...yeah...you should definitely invest some money in an HKS ALC. or you could stop being rebellious and swap in a manual.

Shuddap K3, you betrayed us!

Automatic Non-Turbo is fine... I actually prefer that set-up for daily driver.

Twin Turbo 5Speed with custom mounted seats will come later in life... Maybe not too far away, but still, down the road.

yeah i know i betrayed you guys.

but i think the TT 5-speed swap is the best bet for me. i contemplated for a very long time. trust me...

I dunno... sometimes I think a TT swap would be less expensive compared to the MONSTER NA... the dark side is very tempting sometime.... hmmmm....

i love your monster n/a idea...if thats what you want stick with it 100%. but to me, i just want a high HP streetable car that will make vette owners piss their pants. i want something fun, practical, and easily upgradable to what i want. i feel that the TT is the easier cheaper way to go. probably because it is the road more traveled. plus if i ever want more, i can just up a few switches and buy some massive turbos instead of fully rebuilding the engine to handle more nitrous.

it all depends on how you want your HP. but i want someone to do the monster n/a. and i feel no one is more capable then good ole curious jorge.
