will somebody finish this once and for all, WHAT HONDA is my engine from???

Okay it is a d15B..just d15b..not the vtec one. Not the b2 just d15b is the stamp.

I got it as a replacement for my b2 off japanengine.com but I'm pretty sure it's different than the b2..I've searched on here forever and google..and I've found nothing solid. Can someone please put the nail in the coffin on this one?

hmm that's what one site said..but no stats for the motor...and one site said it was from the civic cx...but don't all usdm motors have 2 more numbers after them..like B18..B1..etc. I'm all nervous now because I thought it was just dx equivalant (92 hp) and now i'm wondering if it's less.

D15B "can" be from the Aussie GL or the JDM XT26 Civics (plus others). Twin-carb motor that was also found in Asia (and the Poms got a 1400cc varient of it. I have a feeling one of the JDM 'rexs got it too.

The 1500cc twin carb ranged from 90ps to 100ps depending on the country and the model spec.
