stereo remote relay wire

Does anybody know if the 03' tacoma's stereo (doble DIN size) has a remote relay wire so that I can hook up my amp to it? I need to know which wire it is on the harness. Any help would be nice. Thanks fellas.

Damn, I know on my old Chevy it was was either the red or the light blue. That's all I remember, wish I could be more specific. Hell, I don't even know which it is on MY Tacoma, had it all done professionaly.

Re: stereo remote relay wire

It's the blue wire, that is for your power antena I use it for my amp turnon, hopefully You have a kit if not get one before you cut wires trust me it's littaraly a snap and will cut an hour or so off of your install, if your still under warranty it will keep you out of issues with that as well, if your connecting the amp to a stock stereo You will need a kit for the stereo and one for your wire harness it's the Metra TOYOTA 1987-UP stock numbers 70-1761 & 71-1761 there about $18.00 a piece and well worth the investment, You will also need a step down transformer to go from amp to miliamp, best buy or circuitcity carries all of that and will no what your talking about.

Re: stereo remote relay wire

Ya one more thing solder your connections use electrical tape and small zip tye around the electrical tape this will give you the best connectivity the zip tye will keep the electrical tape from coming off in the hot sun, but connectors can come loose and soldering isn't any more expensive or time consuming.

Re: stereo remote relay wire

My wire instructions say that the gray wire is the right front speaker + wire, well as long as it works for you. What brand amp did you put in?
