ridiculously good ebay deals

my friend has audiobahn subs in his jetta gli and theyre absolutely SICK so im lookin in to them now.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...933411107&rd=1

There are a lot of auctions like this one, where people are sellnig audiobahn 12'' subs for dirt cheap. this one has 2 subs in a custom clear enclosure for $120, is this a scam? the dude has pretty good feedback, anyone hav experience with these?

"The subs will blow your mind with their intense bass, as expected from Audiobahn. Your friends will be stunned when they see the incredible FLAME design on the magnets of these great looking subs."

Oh man that's too classic. Idk man if your just looking to get started, then go for it, its only $120, plus you said your friend has them(or similar ones??)and they sound good to you, so if you like it then get it. Obviously they're not the greatest setup ever made, but they might be all your looking for right now.

Re: ridiculously good ebay deals

After a box, wiring, LOCs (if you don't have an aftermarket headunit), that would leave you about $350-400 for a sub and amp. Not too much to work with, but you could get something like a ported RE SE 15 and a profile california monoblock.

As for the components pioneer makes some decent speakers, not spectacular but alright. For $200 some other sets to look at would be the RE components, CDT classics, and some others that I'm having a brain fart on at the moment.
