Actually in America there was a 92 CR-X. They where left over 91’s, that Honda sold as a 92 model. So I truth there is not a 91 but my title states that mine is a 92. I have never met anyone with an American 92 CR-X so I was just kind of looking, hoping I was not alone.

EF CRXs hang out here, Del Sol CRXs have their own forum (they were never called Del Sols here, just CRX).

Ok here is the deal with the 92 CR-X. We all know that Honda discontinued the CR-X in 91, but all the 91 CR-X’s where not purchased by the dealerships. So Honda had some sitting at the factory. So what they did was re stamp them as 92 CR-X’s. Keep in mind there where only 400 to 500 of them. Its really not a big deal and I am not trying to piss people off, I just know this to be true. Anyway I was just looking to see if anyone here had one to. Sorry for all the fuss

you say it yourself in your sig that its truly a 91, so why even bother arguing with these peeps over it.
in your sig its says H22A Turbo 7PSI, are you running that? and if you are is it daily driven? the handling has to be for shit.

Yes it is daily driven, that is win its not raining. The handling is not bad, the H22A setup is 85 lbs more then a B-series setup so with the right shock and spring setup it compensates for the extra pounds. Plus I am using some lightened front end components. Such as the front cross member, control arms, brakes, rotors, carbon fiber hood and fenders. So that all save me about 70 to 80 lbs. so the front of my car is not really any heaver than a CR-X with a B16A or B18C in it. I will admit that the swap is not for every one but if done correct it is a good swap. Here where I live there are several Civics with H22A’s in them. 7 not including mine that I can think of. Only 2 of them have problems, one cos he did the swap himself and put the engine in wrong. It sits about a inch to high and is angled to much to the front. The second guy has a Jackson racing super charger on his so he has problems hooking up on the road cos of all the low end torque he has.

do you have pics of your setup...cause id imagine that the fitment of a turbo is damn tight in that small of an engine bay, already crammed with an h22 in it.
also, how do you get lightened rotors? ive never heard of them. just curious |
