new gst... well new for me
well everyone i'm proud to announce that i'm finally moving into the turbo realm. i finally have bought a 97 gst more specifically jakes gst.

well you can be happy to know that your getting a good tranny instead of the one thats in there (2 gear grinds like a bitch)
anyways i raced a kid tonight in it. the kid pulls up in his RX-7 TT and starts reving his engine so i laugh. and hes like "i'll smoke you" so we started talking and i told him 2nd gear is out, hes like stop makin excuses, so i said fine i'll race you, and to give you a chance i'll shift from 1st to 3rd cause the tranny doesnt like to go into 2nd (thats why i got a new one) well anyways we line up and hes like how are we gunna start. i told him, whenever your ready just go. so hes like "oh i know i am gunna kick your ass now!" so i start laughin and roll up the window and he takes off, so i go, pass by him in 1st and shift into 3rd when he is at my door. he catches back up cause anyone knows shifting from 1st to 3rd isnt the fastest way to race. i am laughin so hard cause i look over and he is trying so hard, well the street narrows to 1 lane and i was ahead so i slow down, well he comes flying by me and the car ahead of me on the sholder so i say fuckin put it back into 3rd go around the car on the left and come flying back by him, passing him at 110 like he is standing still! i'm like anytime you want to race you call that number or if you want to work on your car or just kick it, but if your goin to be a cock like that forget i even asked. then he finally apologized and admitted he was trying his hardest. the guy turned out to be pretty cool but i told him he needs to get a faster car (DSM) ![]() lesson #1. dont talk shit unless you can back it up. #2. dont make excuses if you lose - its just a race #3. dont street race, take it to the track ![]() #4. RX-7s are slow

i agree with the first two things, but i owned a rx7 gxl, and with some modification they can actually be pretty fast, just like with some mods a dsm can be pretty fast.... i wouldnt generalize about them, but nice kill anyway
