whats the A/T button for?
Hey guys just bought a 96' G20 today (i dont have an owners manual, on infiniti's website they said u have to call up n order it-i still have to do that)
Just wondering though, theres a little switch that says A/T on it in the car, right near the Gear shifter, it can be swiched to power or comfort, does this control how hard the tranny changes gears or something? thanks for the help -Stealth |

BTW, there are a bunch of owners manuals on eBay right now. Not a 1996 but anything between 94-96 should work for your car.
Welcome to your newest addiction!!! Just watch out for the curse.

As for me, I just leave it in comfort mode since I rarely feel the need to floor the gas. Hope that helps. I highly recommend that you check into the Engine Section of the forum so you can see what are the best mods for you to make your G respond better. (Ex:JWT/Stillen intake, Hotshot headers, etc)

This is something I didn't notice for some time. but with the overdrive switch on or off, when you floor your car the a/t switch automatically switches to power and turns itself off when you ease off the petal.
