converting to ob1

ok have b17 with b16 obd0 ecu i was wondering if i get that harness that will convert to obd1 to allow b17 ecu in it. i read all i would have to do is run the o2 sensors. would this help out w/emmisions. is it really that simple what changes would i have to do in the wiring. oh yea i forgot i would to change the dizzy would just clip into harness or would i have to modify to get that in to.

i believe the plugs are different for the ecu and dizzy and o2 sensor

make sure you get the obdo to obd1 conversion harness if getting it somewhere like ebay read the fine print b/c most conversion harnesses are obd2 to obd1 May be a lil more expensive...$5-10 but get the one w/ colored wires and not all one color. This will help w/ your sensors and such. You might have to splice wires to put them on...if you dont have experience w/ this then get someone that does to do it. Will help if you have your ecu wiring guide..should be found in a mechanic book for whatever year your car is
