i feel stupid but....

i have a 2000 tiburon and cant figure out how to change one of my low beams. the battery is in the way. do i really have to disconnect the battery or what?

if anyone could help it would be awesome

Not too sure on the 2000, I have a 2003. Check the owner's manual, it should tell you how to do it. Or call the service department at a dealer, they'd know.

In all honesty it wouldn't surprise me if you had to move the battery, they are quirky cars!

well... i've changed them on an 01 (which is about the same thing) i had to.... pesky thing, but i've been told you do'nt have to... i just got pissed off and decided to just free up some space..

you dont have to remove the battery. its not THAT bad. unless you have gorilla hands.

pssssssssssssst

3 bolts hold the headlamp housing in there easy to remove and make changing the headlamp a 3 min job

not on the 2000. you have to take off the whole bumper to get the headlights out.

i can have every single interior panel off my car in 1 hour, including the crash pad, seats, and carpet.

thanks so much. we actually did have to take out the battery and i do have pretty small hands. guess that is just the way the car is made

well, for future reference, you dont have to. i didnt have to take mine out. which parts were you having trouble with clearance on?
