Just a question for a few of ya'll. I changed my gears from the 373 open differential to a 342 traction loc. On my recent trip, I went from my house in Luling louisiana to Tallahassee florida on one tank. The funny thing is that my low fuel light didn't come on before I filled up. Is this an improvement in gas milage from changing gears or is this normal for my S10?
Thanx, Wesley |

Re: 2000 2.2l S10
It's geared better for the highway, so yes you will have better fuel mileage.
Your speedo is now out, so when you think that your going 60 your probably going 65+ so you might just want to get it checked out before you find out with a ticket (ask any friendly cop and they'll help you out with their radar gun) |
