Sweet, looks awesome, you use a grid? What kind of pencils do you use, great detail.
Alex, you may have some competition.

yes, i used a grid.

derwent pencils were used, 2b, 3b, 4b, 5b..

and i wish i had access to a scanner, there's more detail in the lights and wheels that can be seen in that picture.

Re: unfinished GTO drawing...

Your drawing looks great. You must be like me, getting darn tired of spending so much time to do a realistic graphite work? I have 3 un-finished like yours. I may never finish them.

Welcome to the forum.

Man that is awesome. How do you get it so dark, that always seems to be my problem.

Re: unfinished GTO drawing...

To get it dark you just keep layering the graphite on to the paper over and over and over again, very long process but it gives good results, but do not press on hard because it leaves marks and damages the paper. A 2b mech pencil would be ideal for this process, no need to use anything softer, and keep the shading as tight as possible.

Like i said finish it and frame it. It looks awsome.
