Question Removing Front Seats In Chevy Malibu

hey, i have a 2002 chevy malibu and it is very diffcult to reach under the front seats to clean spills and dirt. I was wondering if anybody could tell me if it is practical to remove the seats and then put them back in after i've shampooed the carpet and everything cuz its really nasty under there. Will removing them be hard, it looks to me like theres just four bolts that need to be loosened.

Re: Removing Front Seats In Chevy Malibu

all you have to due is:
1 remove the aft bolts
2 recline seat
3 lift back up and the front tabs will side aft when it is high enough
4 unhook the seat belt wire under the left seat
5 dont get the control box for the air bags wet its under the carpet under the left seat
its easy to remove them
