1994 Euro: had tranny rebuilt, now stalls

I am still a teenager, and I don't know much about cars, but I don't think this car had one minute of maintenance before my Stepfather bougt it. He gave it to me for school. Now it has 115,000 miles. I have had it for 3 years. So far, the head gaskets (head was planed), radiator, altenator, starter, waterpump, ignition wire set, brake pads & rotors, air filter and battery were replaced. 3 weeks ago, the transmission was rebuilt at a shop. The car has cost more than it is worth. Here is the problem: 10 days after the transmission was rebuilt, one of the hoses broke and spewed transmission fluid everywhere. The hose was replaced by the transmission guy. Then a week later, my car overheated because the fans would not come on. My Stepfather and I replaced a fuse and I think it was a burned out relay connection to the fans (it did have transmission fluid on it. After replacing those, the fans are now working, but, when I tried to drive to the store, it stalled twice. I was able to get it home, but it idles poorly, lopes while driving, and stalls when I put it in reverse. The engine was running perfect before the tranny went out. Should I take it back to the tranny shop?

Check Your Map Sensor, I Have 93 Lumina. When I Got The Tranny Rebuilt, They Had To Put All New Housing And Brackets On, In The Process They Left The Sensor Out Of Place, It Was Laying On The Manifold And Melted. Then The Car Was Stalling, I Pretty Much Had To Keep My Foot On The Gas To Keep The Car Running. I Dont Know Anything Abount Trans, Let Alone Cars, So Coulndt Really Say Why They Had To Remove The Sensor.

I'd take it back to the tranny guy, and if the hose broke due to his negligence, he should be responsible for the other damages. If the hose just fatigued due to age, and it wasn't his fault, you are the responsible party.
