I had a accident

I was chopping onions tonight for pico de gallo, and, well, I missed the onion. I cut the tip of my thumb pretty bad and it hurts!! Didn't keep me from putting the final wetcoat on my Lightning, but it'll probably keep me from doing much modeling for the next week or so. Luckily it's my left thumb and I'm right handed. I was pretty scared at the time, until I realized everything was still attatched. Man, I wanted to finish the Lightning this week!

Re: I had a accident

Ouch!!!
I know exactly what you're talking about as I used to work as a chef and I've cut myself a number of times. Sometimes pretty bad, but time, tape, needle and thread heals most of the wounds. So keep the nose up and you'll be up and around with modeling in no time.

Get well soon!

Knives are for models.

Dehydrators are for models.

Food processors are for pico de gallo.

Sorry, I'll bet we all wear scars from cooking and modeling.

Come to the ACME meeting today. We still think you don't exist IRL, you're just a figment from the internet.

Have you ever tried to boil an egg in the microwave? Take my advice and don't do that unless you just love to clean the microwave out as a sparetime project. I has yet to do this, but I did however put a baked potatoe in one. After a while it started to smell funny and the whole potatoe exploded, potatoe starch sticks quite well and is a pain in the butt to get rid of. Don't ask me how this could be, I've done a lot of times both before and after this event and it has never happend again.

The pico was good, just a bit salty. Just kidding, I wasn't bleeding that bad at first, but I lost some of my fingernail. The tacos were excellent, I think Will was happy with dinner, even though I made him chop the jalapenos and he got some juice in a papercut. Tonight we're probably having take-out!

On a side note, my post-trauma paintjob came out shiny! Pics soon

Correct me if im wrong, Your a woman? I keep getting confused because sometimes people call you dude like P-Man did several posts up but then you say Will was happy with dinner and that makes me think that you and Will are a couple but then again a couple meaning a woman and a man, that is unless if... Man am I confused. Im glad to hear about your paint on your Lightning

BTW are you Mexican?

Re: I had a accident

YES I'm a woman. Yes Will69camaro and I are a couple. I'm also 25% Mexican. I dont know why people call me dude, it doesn't bother me because i spent several years in SoCal as a kid. I'm glad the paint came out too, it was pretty rough the first wet coat but after several hours of rubbing and polishing it smoothed out, and the final wetcoat looks really good.

Meh...the microwave normally cooks stuff well, make McDonald's fries rubbery and stretchy.

As far as ACME...I was going to come, but I figured I'd spend the day getting ready for NNL. As far as I know, I'll be comin' to NNL with the following:

The body of a '37 Ford, that weighs about 5lbs with all the putty

A 1940 Ford Convertable, thats pretty far, with some primer spots, and 2 rear Cerberus rims, and two stock rims.

Last but not least, and my guess, the biggest in the show, my 1/6. Theres that chassis, with some pimp rust spots, a wheel that has so much bondo the stocks went up, an engine with a styrene trans.
