for you A/T-ers

just got my tranny rebuilt with a new Torque converter, shift kit and endclutch.

gotta tell you. it's gotta be one of the best investment i've ever spent on this car.

at this point, i don't know what i can tell ya!.. this baby shifts better than anything i've ever seen. i don't think there's any manual that shifts as perfect as this car right now. not to mention the significant increase in some extra ponies. "i got the power!!!" ~

if you're looking for a cost/benefit upgrade. definitely get yourself a high stall converter and shift kit. get it from IPT if you can. they're the best.

Where did you get your parts? I'm having a hard time finding them for my a604 tranny.

Also anyone know if the NT tranny's already have a tranny cooler or is it only the turbo cars that have them?

Re: for you A/T-ers

only the 2G's have tranny cooler. it's located at the same place where your SMIC is located BUT on driver's side.

A/T DSM is nothing without IPT. definitely get all your tranny parts from them. i am not saying this to promote them, but they really just have the best service i've ever seen. the owner john is a super nice guy and won't try and rip you off. he'll customize each individual TC for your vehicle. go here http://www.importperformancetrans.com/gmauto.shtml

Re: for you A/T-ers

Glad to hear the new parts are working out for you. Did it solve the idle problem?

It sounds like its time to take it to the track . Let me know when you want to go.
