vibration/stutter in overdrive

I did a search of the forum and came up with nothing. I have a '95 GA with the 3.1l and auto tranny. I have had this problem which just came on suddenly one day. When the car shifts into overdrive it stutters/vibrates really bad, like a jerking motion. It only does this in overdrive, if I put it in 3rd so od doesn't kick in no problem. This should mean the lockout plate is fine, because that usually kicks in at 45mph or there abouts reguardless of the gear. I just had the tranny replaced and a new torque converter put in as well, still does it. Anyways I'm thinking maybe a computer problem, possibly telling it to shift into 2 gears at the same time? This just started out of the blue one day, drove home and it was fine. I left my house about 15 minutes later and tits up. Anyone have any idea past experience it would be great.

My 97 is doing this and has been for a while... I have been told by the garage that it might be the MAP sensor, or the TPS sensor. Now they are both covered by my extended waranty, but they say that they are testing for it and it appears that nothing is wrong, so even though they have felt the shutter, and I have proved that there is a problem, they have basically told me that they can't do anything about it. Kinda makes me mad. Had my transmition replaced 1.5 years ago. Started doing it afterwords. I will never get it fixed and hopefully my insurance will cover a fire.
