Question 1500 suspension upgrade

I own a 1999 chevy silverado 1500 4x4. I just installed a plow and would like to upgrade the front suspension. Is it possible to put 2500 components on this vehicle??? Torsion bars, shocks?? any info is greatly appreciated.

I would.

Might be a waste of time/money.

I would go after market before stepping up to 2500 parts.

Might even consider selling your 1500 for 2500?

If you are going 4x4 remember for every pound you add to your truck your chances of getting stuck in the mud goes up a 100 fold.
