if you say the pump runs, then something is causing the computer to shut it off. Try this with the key on before start you should be able to go to the rh side on the end of the aft fuel manifold is a test point for fuel psi. if you depress this fuel will shoot out (be careful). if it doesnt there is no fuel to the eng. If there is check this after starting there should still be fuel psi(leave the key on after trying to start otherwise it resets). if there is no fuel the computer cut it off for other reasons.
let me know

Re: No start

I have a 2001 with 60k miles just started doing the same thing. I changed the fuel filter, and looked at the plugs. I am getting spark also, but do not smell gas. Ether almost starts it. I have read on here that they have a anti theft fuel disable. Could this be the problem? So obviously I am curious as to what you find out.

Re: No start

yes. Definately could be the anti-theft system. Actually, that's the first thing I thought of when i read the original post. Have it checked out.

Re: No start

Does any one know if there is a reset for the anti theft system. In other words how can I get it running again?
