Tranny Fluid?
it's about time i got the tranny fluid on my van. It says to use Mopar ATF +4 (Type 9602) where could i find this? How much am i expecting to pay? I knew the dodge dealer has it but it's kind of a far drive and i was wondering if any normal auto parts store would carry it. My last question would be is there any other fluid that is just as good? or would you all recommend sticking with mopar?

Re: Tranny Fluid?
it is made by other companies, had a 94 T&C, it is available in part store but from other compines, I bought Valvolen (sorry, never been good at spelling), cannot remember if the bottle said Mopar ATF +4 or Type 9602, but it was one of the two

Re: Tranny Fluid?
valvoline only carries +3 not +4 or type 9602. does anyone else know of another company that makes an equivalent?

Re: Tranny Fluid?
ATF for any stock vehicle should be readily available at any auto parts store, or auto dept. It might not say +4 or 9602 on the the front label, but if you take a moment and read the back label, you'll find a few brands you can use.
There are also compatible synthetics available. I wouldn't change though.
