Spoiler decisions

well just want some opinions. I'v had my mind set to buy a 99VR4 spoiler for my 91 vr4 for a while now, but now that i see them more often they just don't look "right" on the car. now i'm starting to set my mind to the hoop spoiler, what do yall think? it just looks cleaner. were all the hoop spoilers the same on all years? which do yall perfer?

I definitely prefer the hoop spoiler. The '99 is too Sti-ish. Or maybe the Sti is too VR4-ish. Either way, I'm not a fan of wings that are higher than the roof.

Re: Spoiler decisions

I agree. Get the hoop spoiler. I've seen 3000s with them on the road driving behind them, and the back of the car looks mean as hell in daylight and definately nitetime.

Re: Spoiler decisions

Well I have a Supra wing (not the 3S hoop), still havent put it on yet, but from the looks of it just sitting on it, I like it better than the 3S hoop spoiler.

Re: Spoiler decisions

lol, no actually its a PERFECT fit, line's up exactly on the trunk edges on the correct angle and everything. Right now it's sitting next to me, needs paint, but i'll get to that in a week or two. I'll get some pics when it's done.

Re: Spoiler decisions

You have the 99 hoop spoiler, not the 99 VR4 spoiler that they are refering to.

Re: Spoiler decisions

Hmm, I'm not a big fan of the hoop spoilers myself, and I really don't like the 99 VR-4 spoiler.
