after all the parts it will be about $4000 canadian, thats if you do it yourself. shops tend to make their own mounts so they may save you some cash that way, but you can't say "I did a swap", you have to tell anyone who asks that "Joe did a swap for me"...I'm kidding, whatever floats your boat....

I've seen shops do it all for around $4k up in canada...good luck man

Expect to pay around $3000 US; maybe more, maybe less.

Re: B16 Engine swap

well if hes got a 90 civic he just wants the cable swap, the B16A-SIR1

hmotors has it on sale for 1400 complete changweover right now, add shipping and handling and then with labor Id say you could probably find someone to do it for 3-3.kk OTD, but while I was at it Id do the clutch/pressure plate, timing belt/water pump, just a few things like that so you dont have remove a tone of shit while its in the car down the road.

Hmmmm.. No.

The 1st gen B16 is about half as much as the later gens with the hydro trannies. And the later models cost more to install because you need a kit if you want to keep the hydraulic tranny.

It just depends on where you shop and if you know anyone, that can help a lot. People pay a tonne for these swaps, when I got mine I payed 2Gs Canadian for everything I needed for the swap.

my swap cost me about 3g's cnd, the motor was 2g's shipped to my door,

I needed a few other parts like, T-belt, Water Pump, Half shaft, and a mount.

But I also did a good tune up on it, Spark plugs, rotor button, Cap, Wires... ect

I recently had a b16a swapped into my 1990 honda civic. It cost me around 5,000..With mods and everything i'm about at 7,000... If your only talking about the engine, ecu, tranny and motor mounts, that cost was about 3,000. For my specific situation, my car needed many extras, plus the mechanic did all the work..which is why the cost was so high.

good luck
