Do I have keyless Entry??

Just bought a '94 thunderbird, seems to be pretty loaded, and I'm wondering if I have keyless entry? I didn't get a remote with the car, but I thought it was availble. Is there any way I can tell if I have it or not.

theres 2 things I can think of that might help, but will need confirmation from other people on this site. There may be a black box in the tray attached to the top of your trunk, if so then it is a controller for your keyless entry system... if it is a premium sound car, there will be a silver metal box, that will not be the keyless entry box, thats the factory amplifier. And something that might be a clue is to check if your car has an orange alarm light that flashes when your door is open, and stays lit for 30 seconds after you lock your door. I have keyless entry/alarm and have that light, but dont know if the cars w/o keyless entry also have alarm... so the other guys will have to confirm that before you take my word.

The black box in the trunk of my '93's and the old '95 that is mounted to the under side of the package tray and to the right of center is for non-premium stereos. Unplug all of the wires and see if you still have sound.

if you have 5 buttons above the drivers door with numbers on them...0+1,2+3,4+5,6+7,8+9 on them...thats electronic keyless entry....also it opens the trunk...if you have those buttons and don't know the code...96 and newer your local dealer can help you...if not...on the left side in the trunk,pull the "trim panel" and on the black electronic box,should be the code numbers

if u have the control panel on drivers side door u do if u don't u don't it's as simple as that
