I bought a new car, 90 4d ex

Grey, rough body, burns a little oil, 186k miles, fully loaded.

I'm going to do a little body work, then put on a few performance parts. I have a y8 head and greddy emanage im going to put on it

other than that it will just be a restoration/daily driver. Finally I can get rid of the money pit known as my '97 Monte Carlo.

4g4d's are pretty cool if you can fit in one. If I fit comfortably (leg room, but of course im 6'4 so i don't fit in it that well) in my car I would probably keep it and think about swapping an engine. d16a6 is a nice little stock engine in our cars.

i am a very big fan of the a6, however i boutght a y8 to use the block for my non-VTEC turbo build (w/ a6 head) and figured I might as well put on the y8 head since i have it and an emanage just layin' around.

the a6 has potential, but with over 200,000 miles i'm afraid to turbo it or anything. I'd probably get another d16 with lower miles to play around with turbos, etc.

But all that depends on money flow, yup yup

the a6 is getting a basic rebuild & a y8 head, thats all. Auto trans wont take much more than that i dont think.

Plus it is filling in the daily driver role, so i dont want anything too crazy, I have the hatch for that.

hmm are there any stronger auto trannys that honda makes to put in the civic? or which cars just have stronger autos in general? Srry i love automatics :P

i know very little about honda autos. Level Ten does build stronger one though.

those things are monsterous, and a PITA to move around. We have 2-3 a week come through where i work.

You all seem to know the 90 civic 4 dr pretty well, had a quick ?...recently bought a strut bar, went to put it in and won't fit because of the brake fluid tank. Any advice would be great on how to get it in

hey welcome to the forums. as for the strut bar did you get it for the right car? i donno what yours looks like so just try to turn it around...or something.
