i saw one thing that kerry supported and bush didnt. kerry supported tax breaks for companies that keep jobs here in the US, and no tax breaks for companies who send jobs to other countries. thats one reason i wanted kerry to win

first of all that is the only thing kerry supported clearly. and dont bitch about going to Iraq. you did your job just like any other person in this country, whether its bagging groceries, or hunting for terrorist. if i could get a medical waiver for my hering i would have already been there. you knew what you where doing when you tok that final oath at MEP's so dont say another word!!!!!! at this point in time bush is what we need. if you dont like it move to Canada like the rest of those other "Americans" or whatever you call them!!!

I personally couldn't stand Kerry. I thouhgt he was a total creep. Of course I don't really care for Bush, but I felt he was the lesser of 2 evils.

The biggest thing with Kerry was that he was so indecisive and I'm already married to someone like that, I don't want a President like that too lol. Also my father fought 3 years in Vietnam and the things he said about Vietnam Vets really pissed me off. For that reason alone I can't stand Kerry. You can say whatever the fuck you want to about me, but you don't talk about my family. So even if Kerry was the only one running I still would not have voted for him.

And as far as the dude who spent time over in Iraq already. I hate to say it also, but when you join you know its always a consequence to wind up in a war. My husband is in the military and we got married shortly after 9/11. We were already engaged but we wound up having to get married sooner because he was leaving so often and he had orders to get restationed. And I knew when I married him that I'd pretty much be marrying the damn military too. And ever since b/c of the terrorist attack, I see him maybe 6 months out of the year. But I can't bitch because I knew it was gonna happen before I married him.

So we both voted for Bush since he was the lesser of 2 evils, even though we know whil he's President my husband probably won't be around much.

The reason I have every right to bitch about something like that is because I fucking put in 4 years of my life to protect piece of shit people like you who have the nerve to tell me "not to bitch about going to Iraq". Did you have to endure the 120 degree weather, getting shot at, having a missile hit 50 miles outside your base...only to find out it failed to detonate...had it detonated you would have been killed instantly, being thousands of miles away from home...loved ones...children...anything and everything you ever cared about, wishing every night that you would wake up to see the next day, or just wanting to sit back and watch T.V. No...I didn't think so. While you’re fucked up eye sight kept you from all these horrible things, and thankfully let you be safe in the U.S., I unfortunately had to deal with all these problems. Any service member who proudly served over in Iraq or anywhere for that matter has every right to say whatever he or she wants to. People like you make me sick to think I helped keep douche bags like you safe.

As for the wife that gave her 2 cents, I wish your husband the best and for a safe return to the U.S.A. I knew what I signed up for the day I raised my right hand, but now 4 years later my outlook has changed on what I once thought was the right thing to do. well said man. thats the reason i dont criticize the troops. i had a friend that was suppose to be shipped off to iraq but his platoon didnt go. he wasnt too happy about going over there. i might be against the war in iraq but i support the troops.

My dad has been Airforce for over 26 years, and has fought in the Gulf War, Saudi Arabia, Desert Shield, and is currently over in South Korea, and has been for the past 2 years.
