Overhead Monitor
I have a 1998 GMC Yukon SLT that is used as a family vehicle. It has a grey interior without a sunroof. I am looking for a factory looking overhead console with a monitor and DVD player to entertain my kids for the long hauls. I have been looking around, and I cannot see spending $1000 for this option. Has anyone had any success in this area, and if so can you send me in the right direction? Thanks.
BTW, it is ironic to see how common some of the problems are with the Yukon/Tahoe/Suburban platform. I have had my tranny rebuilt, new starter, fuel pump, oil cooling lines, windshield wiper motor, new intake gaskets, heated seat element ... I love how well this vehicle handles, but it is high maintanance; and this vehicle is not abused in any fashion, it has never been offroad. Oh well, I guess you gotta pay to play.
