Clutch problem

Ok, here's the problems, hopefully you all have an answer, I'll do my best in explaining.
I put the car in 1st gear, and it slowly gets up to speed, if I press the gas pedal to hard, the engines revs up with no response from the clutch, with RPMs skyrocketing but my car just does not respond. Finally I get up to speed, and switch to 2nd gear, with the same problem, If I press the gas pedal to hard, the RPMs climb high, but little response from the clutch. The last repairs I have done on this car is a brake change, and bled them accordingly, about a year ago, but thisproblem has just started within the last few months. Ideas?
