braking problems

have a 94 jeep and when i apply the brakes it seams like it pushes the pedal out and wont stop and at the same time it makes a loud noise can it be the anti lock brakes

Could be alot of things....check the fluid reservoir to make sure you've got enough brake fluid in there. Check your pads, to make sure they've got some meat left on them. If not, check your rotors to see if they're scored (have grooves in them from worn pads).

You may need to also bleed your brakes.
