Shift knob on console
1994 Supreme convertible. I want to put in new carpet.
How do I get the gear shift knob off.

Got It
On the back of the knob, there is a horseshoe pin ... pull it out, or in my case - I shoved it IN thinking it was a button - pry it out with a very small screwdriver. That's all there is to it!!!
