Post Tokyo Extreme Racer: Zero

Okay, for those not familiar with this game. If you've played GT2 or 1, this game has the same flavor. There are some differences in this game though. For one, you have more things that you can modify, body kits, color, real rims, and other things. You race in Tokyo(duh, it's in the name), and you race against rival gangs.

I've heard that the Dreamcast version was not all that. Whatever the reasons, they cleaned up their act with the PS2 version of the game. Now I will say this before I go into what I think of the game. It will get boring after a while if you are into having different challenges. The races only take place in Tokyo and the roads traveled are the same. The car physics are not exactly like the GT series, but they are close.

Now as for me, after two straight days of playing it, it's alright. I mean the challenges are there, the races can get a little exciting. I mainly like it because of the modification factor. The fact that I can change so many things. The graphics are on par with GT3. I wish the realism was more like GT3. All in all, if you're into racing, real street racing, I would recommend it. I wouldn't go crazy getting it, but I would recommend it.

I'll agree with you its a pretty good game. Its no GT3 but its still cool. I rented it from blockbuster and for the 5 days i had it, well actually 6 thats all i played. i like the modding factor on the game and the racing can get nice as well. those damn wanderers that never battled me pissed me off. It does get a little boring just running on the same highway. If you need a new twist on your car game fix go get it.
