Question Parking brake

Anybody Know why my 02 v6 auto does this? When I take off from a stop light or something the brake(!)(P) comes on like the parking brake is pulled but its not.

I've got a similar situation with my brake light illuminates, but its more random..and my "low oil" light also lights up as well. both at the same time.

hasnt caused any problems.. so im not too worried about it.

Re: Parking brake

There is a sensor in the proportioning valve that will also sense air in the brake system. Try to bleed the brakes.
