when you go through a private seller you get to see the person at hand that drove the car. talk with them and get a feel for how they treated the car. can't do that at a dealership. when i bought my teg i got it from a private seller. it was from some older lady that had a company car and really did not need hers. now if i went to a dealer i would not have known that. and most dealerships only warranty the car for the manufacturer's warranty.
i say get it. meet the person. get a feel for how they treated it.

Re: GS-R from private seller?

The biggest bonus with a private seller is NO MARKUP. You should pay less for a car in a private party sale, than you would if you bought the same car from a dealer. Not that the dealers are ripping you off or anything. They just have to mark up the value to cover advertiseing, maintanace, ect, ect.
