dash light problems.

I'm not certain, but I believe when my gas gets less than a quarter tank, it seems my dashboard "e-brake" and "low oil" lights turn on.

I've noticed it a few times while driving.. and it always occurs when i have a fairly low tank of gas. (i'll check this tomorrow as im almost to a quarter now)

my question is.. what could be causing this? is there sensors, or fuses that may have burned out or be broken?

I know I don't have low oil, as i just had the car serviced before i puchased it about a month ago..and i've checked the oil myself and it's normal. the ebrake is fully down as well..

and if they are ffuses, i'd assume its that black fuse box with 10 or so others underneath the driver side dash?

thanks to anyone who can help or provide insight.
