Re: Digital Designs (DD) vs. Audiobahn

there is always a concern for price, do you really want this to go back and forth, until finally we recommend a $6k+ system, and then you finally tell us your budget? Or do you just want to tell us from the beginning?

What is your goal with this system? Just getting loud? Sounding great? Little bit of both? A lot of both (costs a lot more)?

Re: Digital Designs (DD) vs. Audiobahn

GUYS he's got a jetta! That limits it to 1 15 at the most

Check out my sig, total cost was around $3k and it's the best system I've ever heard, not to mention owned. Maybe step it up to a XXX15 for the extra power handling, and a Cadence zrs-9 or us amps usa-2000x, add in a HO alt and new battery, and you should be set, that is if your doors can handle a 3" deep mid. That's my suggestion.....

If you're willing to take the time then you could improve the front stage even more, maybe go with a pair of koda 8's in the doors, koda 6's in kicks, and the tweets in the a-pillar, on a trio of 2ch amps and a nice 3-way active crossover.

HAHA, oh ya, i forgot about that...i was just running off on Hai's suggestion lol. You would def. be happy enough with (1) XXX or Brahma 15in. in your Jetta. That is a pretty big budget, an everything that SR20 suggested is looking like a pretty damn good setup. go with that

(40) 4" vifa minisubs.

jk

I would go for xxx or brahma. The DD9500-series will want bigger boxes than the brahma. if u plan on getting the 9515, say goodbye to your trunk space.

Re: Digital Designs (DD) vs. Audiobahn

I meant that GSteg is back, he's been gone for a while.

Audiobahn is crap, they're decent for getting very loud on a very low budget, but you don't have a very low budget, and you can afford something that will actually sound good and be reliable.

I stick with my original recommendation
