H23 turbo vs H22 turbo

k gotta question for all ya people out there i need help w/. I have a prelude with an h23. its gettin up there in the miles (about 115000) and i wanna make this prelude a fast one. here's the options i've come up w/...

1) keep the h23 and rebuild internals and turbo w/ a t3/t4.
2) swap an h22 in it, build internals and turbo w/ a t3/t4.
3) swap an h22 and go n/a.

i would like to get my lude hittin the high 12's.... while still being a street car. What would be the best option and about how much could i expect to spend for each of those? also... does the vtec in the h22 help out w/ power or still serve purpose with a turbo on it, or could i achieve the same power as a turbo'd h22 w/ a turbo'd h23.

well all of those can be done for high 12s
cheapest/easiest boost what you got.
Thats also what i'd do.

Re: H23 turbo vs H22 turbo

i guess the easiest comparison would be h23 has 160 hp stock and h22a has 200 hp stock. i think i'd like the extra 40hp for roughly the same price. but that's my
better yet, you could put your h23 block internals into the h22a and gain the .1L. yes this works. u could also build u'r h23 block, and build an h22a head and put that on top, for the best of both. however u'd have to do a little more work than just swapping the internals into the h22a.

Re: H23 turbo vs H22 turbo

option4

h23.block sleeved, balanced crank, built bottomend

and a h22 head with boost best of both worlds
plus the h23 block is a closed deck design
