my 1992 Grand Marquis has the exact same problem, when i'm ideling they even go "yellowish". i'm thinking maybe the lenes need to be wet sanded and polished.. but i would also like to have some info on this problem.

Re: headlight are dim

If it gets brighter when you rev the engine then I think the Alternator isn't doing its job. Maybe old or not large enough.

Have you tried halgon lights?

Smile Leadlights are dim

I had a similar problem on my mustang and my minivan. First I used the white rubbing compound from AZ and the light polish in a small tube from AZ (1.00) Made a big difference. My lights were also yellow. Good luck

I put a set of euro-clear cobra lights on my 96 GT with silver star bulbs.....much brighter. I also seen an add on a website that offered "heavy-duty" wiring harness and relay for the headlights of late model mustangs since this seems to be a redundant problem

Dim Headlights

Try the Sylvania SilverStar bulbs (9007). I just installed a set of them on my 1996 GT, and it made a BIG difference....
