Just picked up my first Toyota and truck. I'm really digging it (actually bought it for the wifey).

It's a Tacoma Double Cab 4x2 Short bed with the OC package. I got it for $24900 ($500 below sticker) which I thought was a little high, but no one else had the damn thing in stock. I tried going through Costco and a dealer quoted me $800 below sticker, but he didn't have any. I'm in So Cal.

Try going to www.Edmunds.com. You can find invoice pricing on any make and model out there, plus how much all the options are. You also get a True Market Value, to let you know what others are paying for that vehicle in your area, so you'll have an idea of what to expect when you buy one.

Hey fellows, bought mine last week, 05 Double cab Tacoma 4x4. I live in Texas but ended up going to Alexandria, Louisiana to buy it. None of the dealers in my area would come off sticker, 4 dealers in my area. So i ended up in louisiana an am glad I did. I bought a 05 Doublecab 4x4 with the TRD off road package, V-6, Paint protection package, it was already on it, color keyed Tacoma floor mats, 5 speed auto, limited slip diff., pretty much loaded, MSRP 30,719.00---- they discounted it 2,142.00, got it for 28,577.00 + TTL. They told me the trucks are'nt doing them no good sitting on there lot so I think I got a pretty good deal for my first Toyota truck. LOVE it and so does wifey, cant get her out of it, she drives to work, want let me. So anyway, glad to be in the Toyota forum. Later.
